What is Tiki Codex?

A torch-lit reference app for tiki and tropical cocktails — hundreds of recipes, lore from the golden age of tiki, an AI Tiki Oracle that answers your bartending questions, and a Passport that tracks every drink you make.

How old do I have to be to use it?

The App Store age rating is 17+. You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction (21+ in the US, 18+ in many regions) to purchase or consume the alcoholic beverages described in the app.

Does the app cost anything? Are there ads?

Tiki Codex is a paid app — a single one-time purchase of $9.99 USD (pricing varies by region) on the App Store. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases — you unlock everything once and own it. We don't sell your data — there isn't any data to sell.

How do I reset my Passport / favorites / history?

Delete the app from your device and reinstall. Because Tiki Codex stores everything locally, this is the cleanest reset.

The AI Tiki Oracle is slow / not responding.

The Oracle needs an internet connection to answer. If responses time out: confirm you have Wi-Fi or cellular data, pull-to-refresh inside the Oracle tab, force-quit and reopen the app, and if it persists email us with the question you asked.

A recipe seems wrong or is missing an ingredient.

Tiki recipes vary widely between bars and decades. If you spot what you believe is a genuine error, email us with the cocktail name and a source we can compare against. We update the library regularly.

How do I delete all my data?

Because Tiki Codex doesn't store anything on our servers, deleting the app removes all of your data. There is no account to close.

Will my Passport sync between my iPhone and iPad?

Not in 1.0 — Passport progress is per-device. Cross-device sync via iCloud is on the roadmap.
